Hey all,
Need suggestions on dive boots or socks for my udt fins. I just tried them out, and they seem to fit fine in certain areas but are loose in others. I have about a size 10.5-11, depending on shoe, size foot, and got the appropriate large size fin. There's still a little bit of movement, so I need a sock or something to take up the space. What's a good one to use? I don't want a snorkel/dive boot as much as a sock. I just need a little bit of space taken up. I have a pair of 5mm or 7mm boots with hard soles that I can try, but haven't yet, as they're a little too big and I don't think they'd fit. _______________________________________________________________________________ "nobody's standards are quite as high as the ones I set for myself." -nuke |

I used booties with a thin sole.
You can try dive socks. The UDT Dive socks are thick cotton so that might help as well. |

Thanks for the reply, I guess I have my terminology mixed up.
Is this similar to what you used or would recommend? http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gea...w-Top-Fin-Socks.html Or something more like this: http://www.diversdirect.com/sc...evo-lycra-dive-sock/ I guess everything is way cheap, so if it doesn't work I can switch, but I'd rather buy once. Thanks! _______________________________________________________________________________ "nobody's standards are quite as high as the ones I set for myself." -nuke |

I would go with the 2nd option if your fins are already snug. No need to get blisters if you can avoid them.
