Is only one of the balance tools necessary or do you recommend getting all three? Thanks!

Since my gym has all three, I didn't have to purchase any, but I will say they are each unique and allow you to work out differently for that reason.
For example, the BOSU, you can only stand with your feet close together, but it is taller so you can "step up", flip it over and do push ups, etc. The balance fit allows me to put my feet wherever I like and do my exercises, use both or one, and they are easy to transport since they are small(I did end up buying these for that reason). The Wobble Board seems to work my legs less, and my core a lot more since both feet are planted on the same surface, but you are still off balance. Since each gives you a different approach, I wouldn't say one is better than the other since they are different pieces of equipment that do different things. Basically its not a straight apples to apples comparison. That being said, if you are on a budget, the most utility, in my opinion, comes from the the Balance Fit, two are cheaper than either the bosu or the wobble board, and give you the most freedom in usage. I hope that helps. --------------- www.crossfit.com "Prepare so that others may depend on you" Integrity has no need for rules "Every one wants to be a SEAL on a nice sunny day."--- K. ******* |
