I really enjoyed this book- it gives you a different view of BUD/S training, its more of a personal story then a documentary which makes it an easier read.

I really enjoyed this book. I liked the personal aspect of it and how the author showed that BUD/S is more than just a series of physical evolutions.

James, 256 is about to enter third phase, or just did. Check out the family forums on NavySeals.com and search for class 265. One poster, Nikosdad, has been chronicling his sons progress through 256. It's very interesting and give a pretty vivid picture of what to expect after Hell Week. As for the book, I need to wait for it from Amazon. My local retailers have let me down. They have been warned not to fail me again.
