Two interesting things I noticed in the pictures:

1) Two SEALs were wearing MARPAT.

2) There is a picture of two men in the back of a hummer, and both are wearing the Polish BDUs. So they're either SEALs in Polish camo, or GROM.

Good book. I am more motivated than ever to get through BUD/S, etc. and be able to deploy...

I just finished the reading of the book.I enjoyed my reading, but was sometimes annoyed by all the abbreviations (and this is not Couch fault, but my lack of knowledge about the subject).

I was struck by his Inner Warrior concept, and I quote (and put in bold) for those that haven't read the book yet. It is quite something to aim for, and Kory's slogan Your Integrity is Your Destiny! just reinforce this.

"Accompanying the offensive nature of CQD is the internal preparation of a warrior to project force. The Inner Warrior holds that a SEAL must have a moral foundation from which to project his power. In this way, he is capable of the highest level of aggression in mortal combat while maintaining the inner stability to control the level of violence in nonlethal situation. This same inner capability equates to a warrior who lives ethically and morally - one who succeeds in battle as well as in his personal life."
(Cf. p. 50)

I can already see that some of you have already acquired that concept or are on your way by what I can read in your posts.
