I am planning on doing but I do have one question with the payments. You have to have a contract with the military to get the $200 rate?

Nope...you just have to be a dude who's training to be SOF, which you already are.

Just remember you have to do this for you and not anyone else. You will get your education eventually, thats not going anywhere. You'll get it in the Navy whether you want it or not, and when you're ready you will go back to traditional college and finish up your degree. College will always be there, BUD/S will not. As far as the challenge, Dominick makes a good point. Come on down and participate. I'll see you then.

I was in the same boat as you were about 3 yrs ago. I chose to finish up school before I went to BUD/S for a few reasons : 1) it gives you more options and opens more doors in both the case of success, and in case you fail 2) it gives you more time to train and 3) the time it takes for you to complete a degree can serve as a gauge for how bad you want it..... if your not as motivated by the time you graduate as you are right now then the job was never for you and you just saved yourself a lot of time

Yea I do agree those reasons are very realistic reasons. I have thought of them all very much. There is just something inside of me that keeps pushing me towards that recruiters office. I've been avoiding it for 2 years now trying to stick to athletics as long as I can. It seems the more I push it off the feeling inside grows.
