I was a canidate in the class of 264 back in 2007. I have given serious thought to going back and giving it another shot. I was seperated from the Navy after I dropped from training. Anyways, I had heard that fir those who sign up for BUDs now, if they end up dropping or being dropped from training, that they don't have to worry about staying in the Navy. You're basically free to sin papers and go back home in a sense I guess. Can someone please shed some light on this ? Thanks - Michael

dont know where you heard that from but no not at all. If you are non prior service and enlist w/ a SO contract or any contract for that matter and dont finish your program, you will be reclassed to a different rate, go to that A school and then finish out your contract, 6 years, with the Navy. Its always been this way.
