I'm headed to San Diego and Coronado in particular for vacation. This is purely vacation and not really related to anything, but I figured I may as well see what I can while I'm there.

Has anybody been there, as a tourist? I'd love to know how close I can get, whether I can take photos, what is marked, when to expect classes to be around, etc. Does anybody know what class is currently in phase?

Any tips would help. If photos are allowed, I'll take shots of whatever I can.

just head down orange ave in coronado and you can drive right past BUD/S, see the O course from the street, hit the beach behind Hotel Del. You should see something.
